Hi, I am trying to get a sum of three separate cells in excel by typing "=H45+H23+H37"...and eventhough only one of the cells shows "0.00", and the remaining two cells have positive balance, the result I get is "0.00".................

when I add the two cells that both have positive balance, it adds them up....but as soon as I try to add the third cell, which has 0.00 it brings up 0.00 as the result...

Okay, may I see the file? It can happen if the values you are trying to sum are not formatted as number.

first cell is a sum of 2 other cells...
