User
26/04/2018 - 05:46
i need the formula to be in J2 to search I2 for the word "non-admit" and if its true then copy I2 into C2 replace whatever is in C2
User
26/04/2018 - 05:46
or do nothing to C2 if false
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:47
in this case we need to put two formula
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:47
one in J2 and one in C2
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:47
but in c2 already there is some value
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:47
so we can create a column C2_New
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:48
where we can copy the value based condition
User
26/04/2018 - 05:48
C2 get overridden when importing data
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:48
then you might need to use macros
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:48
i am not a macro expert
Excelchat Expert
26/04/2018 - 05:48
but this can be done with formulas making a new column iof that helps you
