I need to make it so that when I enter a state's abbreviation in one column it adds a specific number of days to a date listed in the previous column. ie: ship date 4.10.18 if the state is NE the next column adds 2 days to the ship date, making the next available delivery date.

I need to make it so that when I enter a state's abbreviation in one column it adds a specific number of days to a date listed in the previous column. ie: ship date 4.10.18 if the state is NE the next column adds 2 days to the ship date, making the next available delivery date.
User 10/04/2018 - 01:54
the days added are determined by the state
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 01:54
could you send me your document pls ?
User 10/04/2018 - 01:55
Copied and pasted what I have - will get you the states
User 10/04/2018 - 01:57
So I need the next date available to auto populate based on the state entered in column C
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 01:58
You enterd data in column B ?
User 10/04/2018 - 01:59
So for instance tank 7525 shipped yesterday the state is NE and the next available ship date is 4/11
User 10/04/2018 - 01:59
ship date we enter then we enter the state then the next date available adds the days to the ship date based on the state that was entered
User 10/04/2018 - 02:01
But if you say OR, it adds 9 days
User 10/04/2018 - 02:01
Per the list I pasted
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:02
now i understand
User 10/04/2018 - 02:02
:)
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:03
Are there more than 13 state's abbreviation ?
User 10/04/2018 - 02:03
No I just need these
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:03
great!
User 10/04/2018 - 02:03
This is all we ship to for now
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:09
i will be finished soon
User 10/04/2018 - 02:10
No worries
User 10/04/2018 - 02:24
So is it looking good?
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:24
let me check a little bit
User 10/04/2018 - 02:25
Okay thanks, I can edit - the +4 is NE and WI, not WI and WI - but I can fix those things
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:27
pls add +4 in formula
User 10/04/2018 - 02:29
I don't know what you mean - you fixed it
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:29
ok
User 10/04/2018 - 02:31
Well I don't know if you did - that part of the formula looks different than the others. You didn't do + behind any other state abbreviations
User 10/04/2018 - 02:31
but I know you are working on it
User 10/04/2018 - 02:31
:)
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:31
i ve finnished
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:32
its not clear what do you want if you enter "NE".
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:32
if the state is NE the next column adds 2 OR 4 days to the ship date, making the next available delivery date.
User 10/04/2018 - 02:32
Add 4
User 10/04/2018 - 02:34
It's because you have NE in there twice.
User 10/04/2018 - 02:34
Its only 4 days to add
User 10/04/2018 - 02:35
I took it out.
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:36
i think its fine now everything
User 10/04/2018 - 02:36
What do I need to do now?
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:36
pls check it.
User 10/04/2018 - 02:36
Okay
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:37
change abb. in column C and check if the columd D is ok
Excelchat Expert 10/04/2018 - 02:39
Is there anything I can do for you today ?
User 10/04/2018 - 02:40
