I have understood the instructions.
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:14
I am working on it.
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:15
=if(B1>301,600,if(B1>201,425,if(B1>100,300,0)))
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:15
I have used nested if formula for this case.
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:15
When it is less than 100, then it is 0.
User 29/03/2018 - 06:16
so i dont need the 'less than'
User 29/03/2018 - 06:16
?
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:16
It is part of else condition.
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:16
I am coming from higher end, so, less than is not requied.
User 29/03/2018 - 06:17
ohhh
User 29/03/2018 - 06:18
i see
User 29/03/2018 - 06:18
i did try it this way but went from the low end and as soon as it saw the true value it would look any further
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:18
=if(B1>301,600... In this case, false condition is <=300.
User 29/03/2018 - 06:18
wouldnt**
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:18
Usually, we have to do this from higher end.
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:19
When we start from lower end, we have to use and conditions and is complex one.
User 29/03/2018 - 06:20
can i still format to show the 600 in currency?
Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:20
Yes. That is cell format only.
User 29/03/2018 - 06:20

Excelchat Expert 29/03/2018 - 06:21
