I need an excel formula to let me know, the # of cells where column B is blank but only if column A has content. Can you help me out with that?

=countifs(A2:A7,"<>"&"",B2:B7,"") here is the formula.

First it will count the non empty cells in column A with A2:A7,"<>"&"" then it will check column B for empty cells with B2:B7,""
