I need to conditional format cells so if a cell contains a value the colour of other cells will change

We can set it up on the "Format" at the "Conditional formmatting"

First, Highlight column B

Then click,"Format" menu at the top, then select "Conditional Formatting"

Then abox containing "A conditional format rules" will pop up at the right

And the, at the custom cells, choose "Custom formula is"

At the "Formatting Style" you may click the fill color into black or green or any color of your choice
