User 24/01/2018 - 10:00
i might need to use a pivot table but what i am trying to do is create a chart that has each different value with a count of how many are in the list
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:00
Yes, I can see now.
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:02
Sorry, you want a chart or just count?
User 24/01/2018 - 10:02
a chart
User 24/01/2018 - 10:03
basically i want what i just did but for it to automatically count
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:03
Sorry, this was listed as a formula problem, hence I have claimed it. I don't know charts much.
User 24/01/2018 - 10:03
ooook
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:03
I can help with a formula though.
User 24/01/2018 - 10:04
could you give me a formula that would do this:
User 24/01/2018 - 10:04
if it says fx2day then count it
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:04
yes it can.
User 24/01/2018 - 10:04
awesome
User 24/01/2018 - 10:04
could you enter it in h4
User 24/01/2018 - 10:04
please
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:05
=countif(A:A,F4) this is the formula
User 24/01/2018 - 10:05
thank you very much
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:05

Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:05

User 24/01/2018 - 10:05
is there anyway you could transfer me to someone who could help me with a chart/pivot table?
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:06

User 24/01/2018 - 10:06
ok thank you
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:06
Gimme a few minutes please.
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:06
Have you deleted the data?
User 24/01/2018 - 10:07
I added more data
User 24/01/2018 - 10:07
so i want the first column in the pivot table to be in different rows the values in column E
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:08
Do you have column Headers?
User 24/01/2018 - 10:08
i can add that
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:08
Please do, and what about column H?
User 24/01/2018 - 10:08
so i want to categorize everything by method of shipment
User 24/01/2018 - 10:08
i meant to delete H
User 24/01/2018 - 10:08
i deleted it now
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:09
Thanks, a few minutes please.
User 24/01/2018 - 10:09
so basically i want the first column in the pivot to be the each of the different values of column E
User 24/01/2018 - 10:09
and then for example all of the UPS2DAIR's H columns to be added up
User 24/01/2018 - 10:09
if that makes sense
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:10
Yes it does.
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:11
Just made a pivot table on "Pivot Table 1" tab.
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:13

User 24/01/2018 - 10:13
yes i am looking at it
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:13
Okay, let me know.
User 24/01/2018 - 10:13
would the pivot table also be able to add up the values in column h
Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:14
yeap it would.
User 24/01/2018 - 10:14
that correspond with column a of the pivot table
User 24/01/2018 - 10:15
thank you
User 24/01/2018 - 10:15
can you keep the count also
User 24/01/2018 - 10:15

Excelchat Expert 24/01/2018 - 10:16

User 24/01/2018 - 10:18
