Excel - COLUMN Function Problem - Expert Solution

Question description:
This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this blog.

I have a table with 3 columns: Date, Expense, Amount The date is order for the entire year beginning with Jan 1 to Dec 31st. From this table I use the data to create an invoice weekly. What I am trying to do is lookup an expense, within a given week and return the date in one cell and the amount in another cell. Example: for the dates between 12/11/17 and 12/16/17 that is in the range (Jan1 - Dec 31) (column A), I want to find the amount (column C) that corresponds to the expense "Parking" (Column B). I also want to find the exact date that corresponds to this particular expense.
