Well, when you added a new column that is related with getting values through VLOOKUP, yes, there's a way to fix it still
Excelchat Expert

12/12/2017 - 10:37
The most important is, to follow the syntax o f vlookup
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:38
And the syntax of Vlookup looks like this,
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:38
VLOOKUP( value, table, index_number, [approximate_match] )
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:39
Wherein, value >> is to search for in the first column of the table.
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:39
Table >> will be two or more columns of data that is sorted in ascending order

Ohh, by the way, you were asking , if there's a way to fix your vlookup when you added a column. "my vlookup doesn't work when I add a new column, is there a way to fix it?"
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:48
My answer is "Yes"
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:48
Does it make sense?
User
12/12/2017 - 10:48
then talk about how
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:49
Now, at the vlookup formula you have, change the number column that is suited.
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:50
For example, it was set at 2 column, then change it into 3, if the location is found at the 3rd column
User
12/12/2017 - 10:50
there's no other way?
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:50
Got it?
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:51
The other way, when you add another column, be sure that it must be placed at the last column so that the number_column mentioned at the vlookup formula will not be change
User
12/12/2017 - 10:52
not the solution I'm looking for. I can already do that myself manually.
User
12/12/2017 - 10:52
Thanks for nothing.
Excelchat Expert
12/12/2017 - 10:53
Ohh, my apology. Still thankful of knowing your thoughts

12/12/2017 - 10:54

User
12/12/2017 - 10:54
