Hello, I understand that you want the value of F12 to be YES/NO depending on the value of your E12, right?

correct

I tried to attach my worksheet, but can't convert to an extension your site would accept

Okay, I just need to clarify the last part of your request, you mentioned colors in there. Are these text or are they the color of the cells?
User

I am willing to do either

I asked because Excel's built-in formulas cannot detect the cell's color. Only VBA/Macro can do that. If they are text then we can create the formulas for you.

I prefer to fdo it the route of the first way, but am willing to try just about anything

Okay, in order to be able to accurately give you the solution, can you give me example data using the Document Preview to the right?

What will the result be if E12 is exactly 0?
User
06/10/2017 - 04:31
that would be a one in a million, but if E12 equals 0 or is greater than zero it will be YES
Excelchat Expert

If that's the case then please see the formula in F12.
User

if less than zero the result is NO

You may change the value of E12 to test it.

Try to play with the value in E12 to test it out.
