I need help creating a formula for a vlookup with multiple IF scenarios, an example would be an Excel document with three tabs.The first tab would have a question of yes or no or a multiple-choice answer of five different products. I am doing a vlookup the formula is this : =VLOOKUP(LEFT(F2385,4),'LOOK UP INFO'!J:N,5,0)
the values I am looking for are definitely in the look up - I can send screen shots in needs be but it is not pulling through.
I have done test on is both columns are numbers which have both come back as true but the formula still doesn't seem to be working for certain values.

I'm using vlookup between two sheets in a workbook. The reference cell contains a formula that draws from a number of other cells. I get the #N/A error unless I replace the formula with the value of the formula manually. If I do that, my vlookup works as intended, but the vlookup needs to function automatically. It defeats the purpose if I have to manually enter the values in the reference field.
