I want a cell value to be used as the sheet name in a VLOOKUP formula. For example I want the, 'FPT Lens' from the formula below to be a reference to a cell value so that if I change the cell value the formula updates. =HLOOKUP(A4,'FPT Lens'!$C$3:$O$14,12,FALSE)

In cell Q3, nest the existing VLOOKUP function in an IFERROR function. If the VLOOKUP function returns an error result, the text “Invalid Staff ID” should be displayed by the formula. (Hint: You can test that this formula is working by changing the value in cell Q2 to 0, but remember to set the value of cell Q2 back to 1036 when the testing is complete.)

I am trying to use the VLOOKUP function in a large chart of BMI data. I want to display 'Underweight', 'Normal', 'Heavy Weight', or 'Obese', depending on the various BMI amounts. How can I use VLOOKUP to 1) find the actual BMI number(s) in the table used to compare, 2) use the legend of reference BMI amounts with the text labels 'Underweight', etc. If possible, I could send the workbook to help you understand. Thanks!

Water Data Worksheet Calculate the Water Bill (Column H) as follows: Use a combination of the IF, OR, and VLOOKUP functions to calculate the water bill. Below are the parameters for calculating the water bill: If either a customer’s bill is waived (Column C) or if the customer has used 25,000 or fewer gallons (Column G), the water bill is 0. For all other customers, the billing rate varies based on the type of customer as shown in the BillRate table in columns M and N. The customer type for each customer is in column B of the main table. (Hint: the water bill is calculated based on a “per 1000 gallon” basis)

i have 4 different payment commission options for my sales team. I want to use drop down for them to select which type of cell it is. depending on what they select I want the formula to calculate their commission based on where they finished in the month. My main problem is i can't get my calculation in the vlookup to correspond with which row and cell. Here is an example of the formula i am working with =IF(revenueF25<40000,comm!D7*0.22,IF(AND(revenue!F25>=40000,revenue!F25<=70000),comm!D7*0.25,comm!D7*0.28)*10)

Hi, I have two sets of data that I need to match against each other using a vlookup (I think?). The problem is that each data set is slightly different and I need to match against the SKU root for both. For example, one data set will have a SKU like this: FLWH4880-04-50. The other data set will have that SKU like this: Foil Lined : FLWH4880-04. Basically, I need the latter to check against the former for FLWH4880-04 to make sure I have inventory for the SKU. Please let me know if this makes sense!
