I am uploading stock index performance data by month from an inflexible data base. The months are represented by text...i.e.,, "Sep-17". My Fund Performance data is uploaded as "current month" and only further identified by a second column containing the date, i.e., 9/30/2017. I need to be able to somehow match the 9/30/2017 to the "Sep-17". Any thoughts?

My report has a formula that changes text in "L" column based on the date (column "K" being greater than 300 days. I want to highlight and change column "L" text if date in column "K" is greater than 30 days past date.
