I need help with excel sumif greater than and from a different sheet.

I am trying to do a SUMIF calculation and when I hit insert function and then chose SUMIF it brings up 3 things: range, criteria and sum_range. I can properly select the data I want in there (ex: E2:E6) but I want to make it and absolute cell reference and I am using a mac so I highlight it and click command t but a "ding" noise pops up and it doesn't allow me to change it. I am not sure why. I am following along with an excel module program and the instructor does it frequently and it works every time for him. I have attached a file, and the first sheet is empty and the second sheet has the formula I am supposed to put in.

I need a formula like sumif but works with text.

Sumif, scanning column B for values less than the value in the same row in column C. I can only make it work if I actually enter the value in col C into the fomula in col B separately on each line. Surely I can refer to the value in Col C then copy the formula down.

I'm trying to use SUMIF to collect data from all months in a specific year into one total. It keeps coming up as a zero. =SUMIF('Monthly Summary'!F6:AU6,"18*",'Monthly Summary'!F10:AT10) Is the formula I have entered where row 6 is the date (1801, 1802, format, etc,) and row 10 is the revenue I want to add together.

Is it possible to sum up numbers based on font color? I would appreciate some kind of sumif formula for that

Every time I add the quotes to this formula it stops working? SUMIF(C7:BB7,"<=BC6",C10:BB10). I am trying to add some numbers based on a date range.
