I have a spreadsheet where I am trying to track time. The laborer enters the time on one sheet called "Labor" while another sheet called "map" that is hidden, tracks the time.
There are 5 columns where he can put his time and associate it with different cost codes. If he enters time into the first column, then his time will be tracked on the "map" sheet in the first column, even if there's any other time in the other columns on "Labor." If there is no time in the first column, but there is in the second column, I need a formula to do the following:
If A1 is blank and A2 is not, then spit out "Labor!A2". If both of them are blank, then spit out 0. If A1 has a number in it and so does A2, then I need this cell to be blank because A1 takes precedence over A2.
I need this formula to go likewise for the rest of the columns. If there is anything is A1, then the rest of the columns in the "map" sheet need to be blank.
Likewise, if A1 is blank, A2 has a number, and so does A3, then A2 takes precedence and I need A3 to be blank. This goes for A4 and A5 as well. If there is any cell number smaller than A4 or A5, the smallest one takes precedence.
