Not sure what this called to properly search so I am struggling. I import reports into Excel and get A1 with a name and A2 is blank. Then the following cells come in 2 rows that belong to the name at A1. If I want to sort by name, A2 is blank so I can't keep all of row 1 & 2 info together. Is there a way to say if A2 is blank, copy info from A1? I have 160 pages of this data so I can't just copy and paste individually.

On the sheet the named "Cycle Time", I need a formula in cell L3 that will search for the person's name in cell A3 in column P on the sheet named "Xactanalysis Raw Data" and return the earliest date in column Z of the "Xactanalysis Raw Data" sheet for that person's name back to cell L3 of "Cycle Time". I am using excel to highlight duplicates and order research papers for a systematic review. My initial search had roughly 300 papers. I have done a new search which includes 400 or so papers. (each paper has various columns, such as Title, authors, abstract) etc. In theory my new search should include all 300 papers from the initial search (which I have already assessed). I match these old ("already assessed") papers to the new ones to (a) highlight new papers I must assess and (b) ensure that I am not missing any papers

i want to type something in A1. this will be the name of either a file or a folder. Then i want to press a button and have it generate hyperlinks to the location of the folder containing what i typed in A1. I only want it to search one main folder with multiple subfolders within it. so for example, in A1, i type, 12345. I then press the button, it searches through the main folder and sub folders, and then creates the hyperlink to only the locations of a folder named 12345 or a folder containing a file named 12345.pdf
