I need a way to calculate a row average by column values in a pivot table. For example: If I have a single dimension such as expenses in column A, and I have column values by month--rather than just seeing grand total--I want to see the average monthly expense for that row. If I just change the "total values by" parameter from Sum to Average it averages by the individual values in the data set not the summed values by column.
