How would I find the percentage of how many games are won? You are going to play a game where you bet a dollar and get to flip a coin ten times. If you get four heads in a row, you win. If you make the tenth flip without getting four heads in a row, you lose. Run this game ten thousand times. Approximately what is the probability that you will win? (choose the proper range)

Hello, could you please check if my pivot table is correct? The task says: The value displayed in each cell (in the pivot table) should be the R&D spend for the corresponding country and year as percentage of GDP (i.e. taken from the 'Value' column in the row of the table on worksheet 'Research' where the country is in the 'LOCATION' column, the 'MEASURE' column has the value of 'PC_GDP', and the year is in the 'TIME' column). Thanks

I need a formula that allows to populate exactly how many items needed to get to 92%. We use customer surveys as a performance tracking tool. Good vs bad give us a MTD percentage. I need to be able to populate when we fall below that, how many good surveys are needed to get back up to 92%.

Hi - I'm looking for a simple formula to be used in column D which computes the percentage change excel from the last transaction date (a 'HOLD' means no transaction that date). For example, to compute the 300% change from 12/3/2017 to the last traction (12/3/2017) (in the attached file) I need to compute = ($4- $1)/$1 = 300% in D4. This means skipping the empty cells in column 'C' until I find a non empty cell (e.g. $1 in C2). Is there a formula I can use in column D for this? Thanks - Mark

I have a spread sheet for tolerance. I can either enter the percentage of the dimension, or the +/- value (Cell C5, or Cell D6 respectively). I would like either cell to clear automatically when entering data, so both aren't filled inadvertently. So.... Either cells C5 or D6 can have an entry but not at the same time. If C5 is full and I enter a new value in D6; C5 will clear automatically, and the other way around as well.

So I am working in Excel and trying to figure out a way, if there is one, to find a percentage of booked clients by referral source, by Overarching company. For Example, with fabricated information, see the attached... So with this information, what I am trying to disseminate on a pivot table: American Continuum -- 5 quotes written -- 2 quotes booked -- so, 40% of quotes booked with us -- AC referred 3 Clients, 1 booked - Organic Google brought 1, 1 booked - AdWords brought 1, 0 booked -- AC has a book rate of 50%, Organic Google 50%, AdWords 0% -- based on referral source So, I'm essentially trying to express in one Table that 40% of American Continuum Clients booked with 50% of them coming from AC themselves, and 50% of them coming from Google Organically. And maybe I am missing something simple, or it's outside of my expertise, but I assume that there is a way to do with a pivot table. It wouldn't make sense for there not to be.

Good day. I've these sheets where cohort numbers and there percentages (if you look at the sheet, you would know what I'm talking about). row 5 is cohort number, row 7 to 14 are percentages based on these cohort number. I want to convert those percentage into their respective numbers. Column O to column X are examples of what I want. Row 5 to 14 is one section of data, there's many section in the sheet. Is there a way to apply the formula to entire sheet (to all sections). This is the formula I've wrote for the first section =IF(ISNUMBER(D7),(D7*D5)/100,"")
