Try to put an end formula to do the below caculation on a spread sheet for testing peoples skills
The following calculation process will be used to establish each individuals overall mark.
The total number of skills assessed in each area x 5 = ? Score A (This is representative of the highest possible mark attainable)
Participants Total score = ? Score B
Participants total score (B) ÷ by the Total number of skills assessed Score (A) (the number of skills tested changes thats why there an issue with caculation, could be 6 skills could be 20 skills dependent on person area) = Score C
Score C x 100 = Over all percentage mark for that area.

Play with different values for the Average Annual Return and see how a small change in the rate can have a big effect on your return. Over 30 years, the average inflation-adjusted returns for the S&P 500 have been between 5–8%. Use a lower percentage to be more conservative in your calculations. This would move you toward over-saving rather than over-estimating and being caught short at retirement.

I need help in establishing conditional formatting in pivot table. I have two sources of data that I am able to import onto two worksheets. The first table has item numbers, width of the item, height of the item, price of the individual item.
The 2nd table has the model number, width, height, and total number sold for the year. I am needing a few pivot tables. I need a price grid of individual models by width and height (width is my column, height is my row, filtered by model # - got that far) I need to add a coloring (conditional formatting) to the values by sales.
I need another pivot table that can do a grid that can compare the price of the base model to the chosen model. This grid would have a percentage of the difference in price. still with the width in column and the height in the row.
Beyond the basic single price grid by size....I am lost

Hello, how to get the average of numbers? I am trying to get Excel to calculate a commission on a "less than simple" pay structure. Essentially, I get paid a percentage of net sales. That percentage is determined based on 2 criteria. For example: If my "Products Per Deal" is 1.00 and my average income per deal is $1000.00, then I will be paid 13.00% commission. If my "Products Per Deal" is 1.3 and my average income per deal is $1200, then my commission will be calculated at 15.50%. I have a table set up, I just don't know how to get Excel to figure out what percentage it is.

Hi,
I have an excel formula that takes 2 other cells and divides them to get a certain percentage.
EX. 9800/10000 = 98%
It normally ends up between 60% and 101%
I want the resulting cell when the calculation is above 97% to actually show 100%.
Is this possible?
