i need help with an index match example

I need to create an index match function that will find a score from a file and insert it into another file

replace #NA to 0 inindex match formula in excel if I don't have the data in my index

I'm trying to Index Match, but need to look for a Match over multiple columns.

I am using an INDEX MATCH MATCH formula to pull data from a pivot table that meets two criteria. I am NOT using the GETPIVOT formula as the data I am pulling is the row field and not a value. If I do INDEX MATCH to one criteria, the formula works; same if I use the second criteria; however, when I combine in the MATCH MATCH I receive a #REF error. Do you have any insight as to what is causing there error even when each MATCH works separately?

I'm working with Index Match & Hlookup on a value: 03/23/12 - 03/23/13. It's identical everywhere it needs to be but I'm getting a N/A error. When I edit it to 3/23/12 - 03/23/13 (remove the 1st zero it works. Why would this be? How do I avoid?
