I have excel sheets with external data connections to a sql server created through the Microsoft Query ODBC. I have some that keep losing the command text (SQL Statement) from the connection. Everything for the connection is still there, it just the command text is missing. I dont know why my spreadsheets keep losing the SQL statements from the command text. In addition, it will not let me change them and put it back in. I had to right a macro to fix.
