When I connect my excel sheet to an external Data Source(SQL SERVER), I couldn't get the correct date format. Even though I change the format of that column to short date I still showing as text. Is there a way to change the excel date format when I connect to external data source?

I need to input a field where the format is a short date. The date should be 1 year and 4 months after the date entered into a separate source field so:
If Cell A5 is 1st April 2018 then Cell A6 will be the date 1 year and 5 months from that date
