Up until recently, I've been able to use a period when using the Sum Function as in the days of Lotus. Now it won't accept the period and gives me a #Field! error. I went to Options-Advanced to ensure Lotus compatibility was checked....still nothing.....using a colon requires a Shift+Colon vs just a period....thoughts? =sum(A1.A2) vs. =sum(A1:A2)
