trying to create a timesheet calculator for calculating my hours. I only have 20 hrs a week but they round down the number in increments of .25 or 15 minutes. For Example, if one day I only worked for 6 hours and 10 minutes (which is about 6.22 in decimal) but since I hadn't worked the full 6.25 hours it rounds the hour to 6.00 instead. so I'm wondering how to tell it to round down in increments of 0.25. any ideas?

Hello. I adding time on excel in minutes and hours such as "1.52" for 1 hour and 52 minutes. I am then finding the average of hundreds of data points to find the average time in minutes and hours. My average would come to something like "1.62" which is odd because it 62 minutes is over 1 hour. Should the final average number of 1.62 be interpreted as 1 hour and 62% of 60 minutes or 2 hours and 2 minutes?

A criminologist rode along with patrol officers for several weeks and recorded the number of minutes they spent interviewing witnesses at a variety of crime scenes. The criminologist collected data on the number of minutes that male and female officers spent interviewing witnesses in order to examine if there are differences between men and women.

I need a formula to find the average number of products sold, from data that is on multiple sheets. The products are never in the exact same sale as the sheet is sequenced by time periods of 15 minutes and the products are only listed if they are sold. (i.e. I sell 2 apples at 1pm on day 1, 3 bananas at 1pm on day 2, and 5 apples at 1pm on day 3. My averages sales over the 3 days at 1pm are 3 apples and 3 bananas.)
