Hi - i wanted to find a way of calculating the previous Wednesday of any date i use. Can it be done?

The default date format in my version of excel is different than my co-workers and changing all dates with this format to only include half the year. For example, the document when opened on my computer will be "Wednesday, November 21, 18" instead of how it SHOULD be which is "Wednesday, November 21, 2018". I don't have an option with the full year in my formatting for Date options at all. Help!

Hello, I need a formula please that changes days. For example Wednesday 11/7/2018, in the next cell Thursday 12/7/2018, the cell next to it changes Friday 13/7/2018.
Then when I come in on Monday and Refresh the sheet, it would keep up with the days (Monday would be 16/07/2018) etc..
Is there any formula that can assist?

i have a excel sheet ,with date on one column and day or another column . and in third i entered values correspondingly to the date and day of one month .now i need only Monday value another cell on the same sheet .like its Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,and Friday

I need to create a formula that populates a calendar with a color based on certain tasks done on certain days. For example, a certain task might start on a Wednesday, and extends 6 days. I can create that formula, I just would like to exclude the weekend from the count, so in this example Wednesday, Thursday and Friday would be filled, and so would the first three days of the next week starting on Monday.
