Hi, I have an excel SS that consists of a list of names - vertically, and days of the month - horizontally.
the SS is used for shift allocation. At the end of each row, I want to add up how many "OC" shifts someone has just at the weekends, How many weekday "OC"
I'm struggling to find a formula that will allow me to isolate just the weekends or weekdays..
I tried =COUNTIF(H6:I6O6:P6V6:W6AC6:AD6,"OC")
in that H6:I6 and so on are the cells corresponding to the weekend for each person.
There must be a way around it! Help please!
