I want to copy a reference formula using the drag down option keeping the same pattern. i.e copy A1 : A5 down to A100 with the reference changing every 5 rows therefore the same pattern. The reference is on another sheet. When I drag down the formula in skips 5 rows on the reference sheet. I can not see why this is the case.

I need D columns values through the drop down list based on the C columns values..D values from Master Data base B columns reference No s and C values from Master Data base A columns. In QAD sheet D drop down list values( reference Nos ) should be with in the related plant name in Master Data base sheet plant name( A ) columns.. For the example drop down In QAD sheet D4 cell should shows ,reference with plant 2 in cell C4 ,D4 should include the list of reference, 7 to 25,.pls help..
