I have 3 spreadsheets, Forecast, Actuals, Combined. I have a formula in the Combined sheet which collects information from forecast cells, but when there are Actuals the formula takes the information from the Actuals sheet. To do this I have to change the heading in the Combined sheet from Forecast to Actuals. Formula is as follows: =+IF(D$4="Actuals",Actuals!D7,IF(D$4="Forecast",Forecast!E7,"ERROR")). The spreadsheet keeps asking me to "Update Value: Forecast" and I can't proceed. Can you help please? Barbara

I'm creating an excel sheet to forecast the number of required employees based on matrices that I set up. I would like to add a drop down on the forecast detail tab, that has all the job codes on the other tabs, and when a job code is selected from the drop down, the forecast is calculated based on the sales matrix in its associated tab.
