I am using excel V 16.10. I have a problem with a text box within the spreadsheet. 1. When I add words in the text box I can see the cursor moving as I type but I dont see the words. When I click outside the text box the words appear. 2.) Same thing happens when I erase contents of text box or when I highlight sections of the paragrahas. The rest of the spreadsheet works. The problem is only on this text box.

I am editing a text box in excel V 16.10. I have typed in this text box for over a year but today this is what happens 1. When I add words I can see the cursor move but I see nothing 2.) When I erase words, I can see the curson move over the words but nothing is erased. 3) As soon as I click outside the text box all my editing appears. 4) CMD A (select All) works within the box but when I select portions of text I do not see been highlighted but I see it the selected text highlighted when I click outside the text box. 5) I have created other text box and transfered the text but the problem persist. The rest of the spreadsheet with its many sections works fine.
