countif column f contains "FT" AND column B does not contain a blank

Solved by G. W. in 20 mins

please help populate column contents of 1 of 7 options. The formula should look in a single column for the digit 1,2,3,4,6 or it should understand that it is "blank". It should then populate with the contents of different columns accordingly. For example if it contains 1, should print text from cell A1, if its 2, B1, etc
Actual references are:
If K3 contains 1, print text of AH3 in AG3
If K3 contains 2, print text of AI1 in AG3
If K3 contains 3, print text of AJ1 in AG3
If K3 contains 4, print text of AK1 in AG3
If K3 contains 5, print text of AL1 in AG3
If K3 contains 6, print text of AM1 in AG3
If K3 is blank, print text of D3 in AG3

I need to count a cell that contains a certain text but omit the text that contains the same text but with extra. For example, I want to count a cell that contains "HM2" but I don't want to count the cell that contains "HM21". Please help, been stuck for so long.

hi
my one cell contains text and another contains value, as per that i want to colour rows

I am getting a "0" return on my =COUNTIF feature. I am trying to get a count of unique text values within a given range, removing duplicates, using the formula =COUNTIF(A2:A138,B2), whereas the "B" column is the column containing only the unique text fields.
