In the same spreadsheet, I am linking data from the first tab into column A of a second tab. In the second tab, I have typed data in column B. Therefore linked data in column A row 5 would relate to the typed data in column B row 5. If I insert a row in the first tab, in the second tab the linked data in column A is updated, i.e row 5 becomes row 6 but the typed data in column B row 5 does not move in alignment with the linked data in column A row 5. If I insert a new row in the first tab, how can I get the typed data in Column B (e.g row 5) to remain in alignment with column A (row 5)?

I am submitting a spreadsheet containing company names in column A. I only need one instance of a name for each company. So, every instance of a company should be removed except for one. I think the result will be maybe 500 - 700 unique companies. Make sure to keep the alignment with columns B and C for each company.
