I have a workbook with multiple worksheets. On one sheet I have linked cells to other sheets in the same workbook and used the $ in my formula to keep the row and column constant which has always worked for me pre-Windows 10. However, in my current workbook, when I insert a new line above the row with the linked cell, the destination cell formula changes to the row below the one I inserted. I've looked online and have seen similar questions where the recommendation was to use INDEX or INDIRECT but INDEX is not applicable in my situation and INDIRECT results in at #REF! response. Did something with $ change in the latest version of Excel?
