how to generate an unique id base on information from 2 cells. example cell 1 (id), cell 2 (date) and cell 3(name). once i insert for both cell 2 and 3 will generate an unique id. cell 2 i insert '05/02/2018' and cell 3 i insert 'AB123' and cell 1 will generate 'FGH-050218-AB123'.

I have a list of part numbers, 90k, with the part number, a semi colon and another number after the semi colon. I want to remove all the numbers after the semi colon on each part number. Is there a way to easily accomplish this?
