I used =SMALL($F$82:$L$82,COUNTIF($F$82:$L$82,0)+1)
to return the lowest value of several costs to a cell (F9). These costs are associated with a company. How can I capture the company name for the cell above (F8). I have tried Match with no luck. I got it to return a name but never the correct one. Thanks.

I used the this formaula=IFS(SUBTOTAL(2,F8:F92),COUNTIF(F8:F92,"3"))
but the count if "3" is not changing the subtotal numbers while doing filtering

I am creating a timesheet. I need to count the number of times a category shows up by using the countif formula. The categories I am having trouble for, example are formatted like this: "Research:Haiti", and the other one word categories are fine. Except the only one it counts in this format is one category labeled "Research:Gateway" category, so I don't believe the format of the category is the issue. Please help!

I have an excel document that has one sheet that is formulated to pull student names from the other sheet. If the student scores do not add up to be greater than the value, it won't list there names and will, instead, leave it blank. I want to create a column that counts any cell that has a student name and is not blank, but I can't do a countif formula because every cell has a formula in it. How do I get it to count only the cells that display names and not the formula?
