I need help in establishing conditional formatting in pivot table. I have two sources of data that I am able to import onto two worksheets. The first table has item numbers, width of the item, height of the item, price of the individual item. The 2nd table has the model number, width, height, and total number sold for the year. I am needing a few pivot tables. I need a price grid of individual models by width and height (width is my column, height is my row, filtered by model # - got that far) I need to add a coloring (conditional formatting) to the values by sales. I need another pivot table that can do a grid that can compare the price of the base model to the chosen model. This grid would have a percentage of the difference in price. still with the width in column and the height in the row. Beyond the basic single price grid by size....I am lost

I am using conditional formatting to highlight the top 1 number. In many cases my top value is shared by two or more cells, IE multiple cells with 2%. Sometimes conditional formatting will highlight all of the cells that share the top value like expected. Sometimes it will only highlight one or some of the cells that share the top value which is not what I want. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Help?

I have a pivot table for a price grid. Width in the column, height in the row, filtered by model #. Is it possible to have the pivot table have conditional formatting based off the number of doors sold? EX: 4x8 unit price is $446.00 but I want to see it yellow because only 2 were sold. Can use the formula bar in conditional formatting to say any unit price that sold between 1 and 5 is yellow?

Please reference EXP_321 I am trying to get conditional formatting based on a column that is NOT included in the value of the pivot table. My pivot table has values based off column g "Price" while I want the conditional formatting to be based off column L "# Sold" EX: If I sold between 1 and 5 of my 5x8 model 600 the unit price of $446 will turn yellow.

Hello I was wondering if theres a way to use conditional formatting on a cell that is controlled by a sum of other cells for example a1+a2 is less than a3 then a3 turns one colour and a1+a2 is greater than a3 then a3 turns another colour. many thanks
