Help please. I have two sheets, one contains a column that has a list of common errors, the other has a column from a log file that has all the errors. I need something that will check through all the errors and return a count of lines that do NOT contain any text from the common errors. In other words lines that have unknown errors. Additionally it would be useful to highlight the lines in all the errors to show unrecognized errors in red. Any ideas?

Currently using AND(NOT(ISBLANK($R4))) To change colour when a date is entered in column R, which works fine. I am trying to sync. 2 large files and find differences between the 2. I purchased XL compair, but I am having trouble using that even to quickly highlight differences. I want cell C4 to highlight red if the value of C3 is less than C4, but I want the cell to highlight green if the value of C3 is greater than C4... how do i two this two level conditional formatting?
