I hope I explain this correctly Column M = Has this formula =IF(I2="","",I2-C$5) it calculates the difference in days from a random date + it also has conditional formatting. Column I = The Random date Column F = Conditional formatting if M<8 its red and if M is between 30 and 8 and its yellow(same for column M) I would like to have a button that will add a blank row below the row I’m working in and input the formula and conditional formatting accordingly. I have tried to record a macro and searched for advise but have had no luck. I hope you can help.

Hi, I am have an excel budget sheet with three important rows at the bottom. 1. a sum of each column. 2. a row with the copied value of the sum-value above to hava as a control. 3. a formula that subtract the above values (I would like this value to be zero as a control). To the first and third row I would like to have conditional formatting, coloring them red if they are not the right value (i.e: the 1st row to colour red if its not the same as thr 2nd row, and the 3rd row to colour red if its not zero). This contitional formatting only applied correct to three of my columns, and three colours red even if the values are correct.

Use conditional formatting to identify all AvgRev values where the AvgRev is more than 5% greater than the AvgRev FOR THAT CARCLASS calculated in Item 17 above. DO NOT USE the calculated AvgRev number, instead USE the cell contents of the AvgRev value so that if either Revenue or NumCars change in a particular row that the conditional formatting is based on the updated value for Average Quarterly Revenue

Conditional formatting across a column Y6>=$C$2 Format J6 I've tried relative and absolute referencing to the cells and used format painter to copy down column J but it all formats when it shouldn't, same when using colum referencing rther than cell. So checking if a date cell is greater than or equal to a date in cell C2 and if it is to change the format of cell in column J. Should I be doing this a different way?

I have a row on one sheet with conditional formatting every other row for a status. If that status is * it turns red. Now when that status is red, I need to copy that whole entire row including status onto the next sheet labeled Outstanding. If another row is entered with the same status, I need that copied into the Outstanding sheet right below the next one. Can this happen?

I need a simple formula for conditional formatting which will light up a cell if the date in the cell approaches within 30 days from todays date. Example if a cell had 9/30/2018 in it, and today's date is 9/11/2018, the cell would light because todays date is less than 30 days away.

Greetings! I'm trying to copy the following conditional formatting formula to different cells, but I need the cell reference to change to reflect the cells where they're being pasted, ie. S16:T16, S17:T17, S18:T18, etc. I'm looking for a quicker way to input the formulas so that I don't have to put them in individually, as there are hundreds that need to be inputted. If you can assist, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, the point of this formula is to highlight the adjacent cells that have the same value. =COUNTIF($S$15:$T$15,INDIRECT(ADDRESS(ROW(), COLUMN(), 4))) > 1

I would like to learn how to check for duplication by combining two cells together using conditional formatting. For example if you have first name in column A & last Name in column B and you want to check if there is a duplicate in the names without having to use a separate column for Full Name. Is their conditional formatting with formulas that we can use in this case?
