I have a table of 64 cells containing numbers. I make a bar chart in excel with the numbers listed from high to low. I want to make the first set of 21 bars green, the second set of 21 bars yellow, the third set of 21 bars red. I had to select each bar manually to do this and I have 20 of these charts to make. I’m working on a project in which I need to have the rows (A to I) to be highlighted in specific color based on the text provided in the particular cell, if it is a single row/cell I’m able to do it thru conditional formatting but it is required it in multiple rows. For Eg. If Cell A1 has the text “Naren” and cell A2 has “B” then the row should be highlighted in Green and the same cells has the text of “Bas” and “C” then the row should be highlighted in red, point to note here is the text will be in multiple rows and in whatever rows/col (cell) it is updated the particular row should be highlighted with specified color.

I have a cell that I want to put dates into for vehicle inspections for when they were done. What I would like is to have the cell background change from no color to a red color when the date in the cell is 4 months old. As our inspections are only good for 120 days before we have to have the reinspected. and Also would like to know if it can be set up to display 2 colors like 1 color when it is1 month old another color when it is 2 a separate color when it 3 months old and then a 4th color when it is 4 months old. I know that may be a little too much but if I can at least get it changed for when it is 4 months old.
