Hi. I need to create a pivot table that counts the occurrences of a value. The values are in cells separated by commas. For example: k2 = A/C, Hood, Sink; K3= A/C, Gas hookup, Waterfountain; k4= A/C, water fountain, closet. I need the pivot table to show A/C=3, Hood = 1, Sink =1, sink =1, gas hookup =1, waterfountain =2, and closet=1. Ideas? I could convert the comma delimited list into their own columns and count those, but I want to be able to further sort by the department field later on.
