I have a spreadsheet (a time sheet) with formulas. To add another touch, I need to have two formulas: one formula that looks at a range of dates (off to the right of the spreadsheet) and if those dates appear in the spreadsheet under the “date” column, will then populate that cell under the “code” column with text (either “HL1” if a Holiday or “AC1” if Admin). Then, in the cell to the right of it (under the “hours” column), I need another formula that looks at the cell to the left of it and populates the number 8 if “HL1” or “AC1” appear in that adjacent cell.
